They were given items to read and encouraged to contact us, SGPC or any of the numbers on the handouts. Abigail did say “maybe God did have a reason for us to come here.”  They were encouraged to take their time and get more advice before making a final decision (she is only 3 weeks pregnant).  Pray that they will contact one of the groups to guide them towards a God honoring decision.

Pray for Carhart on Christmas Eve

Dear Monday Morning Crew!
For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord —Luke 2:11.  Join us as we gather on Christmas Eve morning (Monday AM)  –How fitting that we come this day to be a VOICE for the innocent babies who have been murdered by abortion in Germantown and in our world.  Let us rejoice that OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST CAME, FIRST, TO US AS AN sildenafil UNBORN CHILD to bring HOPE, MERCY AND DIGNITY TO ALL LIFE in this world of great darkness!
–We observed 27 women enter Carhart’s business this week for various reasons; we suspect that at least 7 of them were late-term abortions.  Our sidewalk counselors spoke to one mother who left due to lack of funds —we believe she had a change of heart and will not kill her baby –please pray!
–God bless all who came to stand as the Light of Christ in Germantown at the 2 Year Memorial on Monday, Dec 10th!  Here are the videos from the gatheringhttp://vimeo.com/mdcfl/videos

Health Services (Carhart’s) on Wisteria Dr. and then prayer will be continued at the other abortion facilities in Upper Montgomery County.  For more information e-mail bluksic1@verizon.net

No Abortions Again This Week in Germantown!

Hurricane Sandy caused a lot of damage and destruction.  But one good thing that resulted from the storm… no abortions in Germantown this week!  As you are cleaning up from the damage of the storm, just remember that the storm kept Carhart away and potentially saved the lives of unborn babies.  Praise God, two weeks with no abortions in Germantown!

Please join us for our Closing Rally this Sunday night (Nov. 4) at 7:00pm at Mother Seton Parish.  We will have a time of praise and worship followed by several great speakers.  After the rally we will gather on Wisteria for a cialis 5 mg candle light vigil.

After two weeks of not being here, there is a good chance Carhart will come in on Sunday night to start the 4 day late-term abortion procedure.  Let’s be there to cover Carhart, the women seeking abortions, and their unborn children in prayer.  Prayer is our best way to bring an end to abortion in Germantown.  “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12

PRESS RELEASE: ANNAPOLIS STANDS FOR LIFE ON NOVEMBER 4TH

Annapolis, MD, November 1, 2012: On Sunday, November 4th the Annapolis 40 Days for Life prayer vigil will end with a Community Outreach event called Stand for Life. This event aims to raise awareness about the loss of 3,300 innocent lives in America every single day.

40 Days for LifeLaura Jones, the Director of the Annapolis 40 Days for Life Campaign put it this way, “Imagine a tall cliff in Annapolis where people from all around the county come to end their own life.  Most of the time the road to the cliff is closed, but on certain days the gate isopen and people come in droves to take advantage of the opportunity to end their despair and fear of the future. Would it seem strange for a group of people, moved by compassion, to go to the cliff and pray for them and offer a helping hand instead of death?”

This has been the scene on West Street in Annapolis.  On September 26, many faithful people from across Anne Arundel County committed to pray for women considering an abortion at the Planned Parenthood, for the preborn babies, and even for the workers that perform the abortions.

“Many people cannot understand why it is so important to pray at the site where abortions take place, but it is the only way to reach those who are in desperation,” says Michael Martelli, Executive Director of the Maryland Coalition for Life.  “Being there allows men and women who are seeking an abortion to see others praying for them, and it reminds them that God cares about them and their baby.  Being there when they make their final decision about life or death allows them an Online generic cialis 100 mg opportunity to change their mind, and accept the loving help and support that the Pro-Life community offers them.”

REGISTER NOWParticipants in the Stand for Life event will be given a number to represent one life lost to abortion that day. Germantown Update – 69 Lives Saved

Sorry for the delay in getting updates to you from Germantown…but a lot happened in August and September (and the first part of October), and we can now confirm that there have been AT LEAST 69 live saved due to Prayer and Action in Germantown. Here’s a recap…

Aug 15th – 3 saves

1. On Sunday a couple (woman 20+ weeks)  from VA was in Carhart’s office only 10 minutes after he arrived.   The SWC encouraged them in choosing a different path, the woman appeared to be listening.   They did not return this week!

2. A couple came into GPC looking for the abortion pill.  They were given information about the pill and Carhart.  They said they would not come back here to abort.   Pray that they don’t go anywhere else and seek assistance from a Pregnancy Center.

3. A couple from NY went into Carhart’s office and stayed only 45 min, part of the time they were both outside on the phone.   The woman appeared to be 24+ weeks pregnant.

Aug 21st

There were no confirmed saves this week, but “S” visited GPC with her 1 month old child who was saved from abortion at Carhart’s in July!  She stood outside holding him with the SWC as Carhart’s patients arrived.  She was standing on the sidewalk in front of his office as he pulled in and walked into the clinic.  As one of the clinic workers arrived, the SWC mentioned that the baby would have been aborted in their abortion mill.  generic cialis overnight shipping “S” told me many of the office workers began looking out the window at them. What an amazing chance to show the clinic staff that the babies they abort are real children!

Aug 29 – 1 save

A woman came with her friend for an abortion, but was turned away due to money. Pray that money continues to be a problem, she will seek help at a pregnancy center and that the friend (who did not thinks she should abort) will take a strong stand against abortion.

Sept 4 – 2 saves

1. A woman 2 months pregnant left Carhart’s office after being in there almost three hours.  She decided she could not abort her child.

2. “R” and “O” came into GPC looking for abortion information.  After talking with the volunteers, they went to SGPC and scheduled a sonogram.  No abortion!

Sept 20 – 1 save

Monday there was a couple that came, waited 2 hours and left before Carhart arrived. Pray that this couple does not return and had decided to keep their child.

Sept 26 – 1 save

This week has been very slow for him.   Thank God that he made less money and less lives were lost this week. A Hispanic couple who had a sonogram done yesterday and didn’t return. Pray that God touches her heart each time she looks at the pictures of her unborn child!

Oct 10

No confirmed saves last week, but two of the workers from Germantown Reproductive Health Services have not been there for over a month and we believe they have stopped working for Carhart.  Praise God!  Please pray for the two workers that have left (as well as those that remain).

A new clinic worker did start last Wednesday.  For those that don’t know, Wednesday’s are the day that the babies are dismembered and delivered piece by piece.  Please pray that she was so disturbed by what she saw today that she will quit and not come back this week.

Prayer: Last week, a number of abortion minded women had sonograms in a local pregnancy center.  Take a moment to pray these women will see the new life in them and respond to the wisdom they will hear from the  pregnancy center workers.

Press Release: PRO-LIFERS ACROSS MARYLAND AND WASHINGTON DC JOIN TOGETHER THIS FALL TO END ABORTION

Severn, MD, September 13, 2012: Eight area 40 Days for Life campaigns will begin in Maryland and Washington DC on September 26th, starting 40 days of Prayer and Fasting, Peaceful and Prayerful Vigil at abortion facilities, and Community Outreach.

But before the 26th, these campaigns will all gather together for a united, statewide Kickoff on September 22nd at 10am. There will be 2 physical locations, in Germantown and in Severn, so everyone has access to a local gathering place.

The event will feature a live webcast between sites and speakers at each location, including viagra canadian pharmacy 40 Days for Life National Director and Co-founder David Bereit, rising Christian Music Artist Caitlin Jane, Bishop Rozanski from the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Father Leo Patalinghug from Savoring Our Faith, along with special video messages from Gary Bauer of American Values and Matt Maher (Christian Music Artist).

The Maryland Coalition for Life and the local leaders of these campaigns joined together to plan this event. “Bringing people together energizes everyone involved, breeds excitement, and increases participation,” said Michael Martelli, Executive Director of the Maryland Coalition for Life. “Instead of individual kickoff events, we got together to hold one giant rally for the entire state. Energy and enthusiasm grows exponentially as more people come together, so we are expecting a whole new level of excitement!”

With the closure of at least 3 abortion facilities in the past two years, new Pregnancy and Resource Centers popping up across the region, abortionists admitting a steady decline in patients, increased church and individual participation, and brand new Abortion Clinic Regulations this July, Maryland is turning away from its long-held reputation as one of the most pro-abortion states in the country. “The culture across America is becoming more Pro-Life by the day, and nowhere is that more evident than in Maryland,” said Martelli. “We refuse to allow Maryland to remain the late-term abortion capital of the world, and we will work to change that, one heart and mind at a time.”

Campaigns participating in this event include Annapolis, Baltimore, College Park, Easton, Frederick, Germantown, Silver Spring, and Washington DC. For more about this event, visit http://2012marylandkickoff.eventbrite.com/. For more about 40 Days for Life, visit http://www.40DaysForLife.com.
